PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATIONS
We were early to identify that partnerships and collaborations is going to be the norm in future and our team has been an early intruder in such areas. Some activities have included:
- Active promotions of international summer school and summer internship programs.
- Joint international seminar in Law with Symbiosis International University.
- Organizing an International seminar in Law and Governance between IDS, Sussex and JNU (New Delhi, India).
- Special lectures by Heads of Departments in many centers of national excellence
- Fieldwork in terms of a successful UKIERI bid between SPRU, Sussex and IIM, Bangalore.
- Liaison with Bar Council of India in terms of changing its age old attitude and creation of a new list of acceptable UK institutions whose Law degrees would be acceptable in India.
- Have hosted the VC and Pro VC on several occasions on their visits to Indian Government officials and institutions.
- Have successfully organized some big alumni events in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Have started networking for scholarships and endowments although this is a slow process in India.
